Description These cufflinks are made of highly polished wood from the Chakte Viga or Caesalpina platyloba of Mexico and Central America. The grain and features are captured very well. Chakte Viga is a beautifully grained exotic hardwood. All of this marbling, grain and striations that you see are 100% natural. The wood naturally grows like this. It is noted for its fine, even grain and reddish to golden brown color. I love wearing these ones because they look great without being over the top or gaudy. The shape is generally rectangular, sawn by a miter saw, but curved by being sanded. They are clear coated, then sanded once again for good measure and clear coated again! This way they have a deep luster to them. They were pretty labor intensive �� My dad created these parts in his garage! These are made with pride in the USA!
